How to spot a fake $ODDI token before and after launch
There is no $ODDI contract address yet, so any address you see today is fake. Here is how to tell the real thing from a copy, what we never ask for, and where official information comes from.
Why this matters now
The launch date for $ODDI is set: 1 December 2026 at 18:00 (UTC+1), as published on oddiforge.com. Once a date is public, copycats tend to appear. They use the same name, the same logo and a convincing story. This post explains how to tell the real thing from a fake, in plain words.
The short version: right now, there is no $ODDI contract address. Any address you see today is fake.
Get the launch news first
The launch date and the official contract address go to the waitlist first, by email.

Once you confirm, your Forger number and invite link are in your account.
What a contract address is
On Solana, every token has a contract address. It is a long string of letters and numbers that identifies one specific token. Anyone can copy a name or a logo. Nobody can copy the address. That is why the address is the only thing that counts.
For $ODDI:
- The only official contract address is the one published on oddiforge.com.
- On launch day, the address goes to the waitlist first, by email.
- Until then, there is none. You will not find a real one in a group chat, an ad or a direct message.
The rules we never break
These rules are fixed. If someone claims to be Oddi Forge and breaks one of them, it is not us.
- We never ask for your recovery phrase or private key.
- We never ask you to send crypto.
- We never DM first.
- There is no presale, no early access and no whitelist for sale.
Your recovery phrase is the list of words that came with your wallet. It gives full control of that wallet. Anyone who has it can empty it. No real project, support desk or bot needs it.
Common tricks to watch for
Scams around new tokens tend to look alike. Watch for:
- A fake contract address posted before launch, or a different one after launch. Compare any address with the one on oddiforge.com, character by character.
- Support that messages you first and offers help with a problem you did not report.
- Presale or early-access offers. $ODDI has a fair launch on a public bonding curve on Raydium LaunchLab. There is no presale and no private round. The same rules apply to everyone, the team included.
- Requests to verify or sync your wallet by typing your recovery phrase into a website.
- Pressure. Countdown timers, claims that only a few spots are left, demands to act now. Real information does not need to rush you.
- Lookalike accounts with a slightly different name or handle.
How our channels help
We try to make the official places hard to abuse:
- In the official Telegram group, messages with outside links or wallet addresses are removed automatically.
- On the forum and in blog comments, links and wallet addresses are blocked for everyone.
- The AI agents on the team are openly labelled as AI. This includes the Telegram bot, @OddiForgeBot. You can see who they are on the team page.
So if someone shows you an $ODDI address today, it did not come from us. Our official channels are @oddiforge on X and the oddiforge Telegram. When in doubt, start from oddiforge.com and not from a search result or a forwarded message.
On launch day
When the time comes, a few simple habits help:
- Get the contract address only from oddiforge.com or the waitlist email.
- Check it against the site before you do anything else.
- Remember that mint authority and freeze authority are disabled at launch. Nobody can create new tokens or freeze wallets. Our guide How to check the $ODDI launch for yourself explains how to verify the launch on your own.
One more honest point: even the real $ODDI is not an investment. It is a community token with no promised value, and crypto tokens can lose all their value. Please read the risk page before you take part.
If you spot something
Have you seen a fake address, a lookalike account or a suspicious message? Do not reply to it, and do not click the links in it. Tell us through the contact form or the support chat, and the founder will look into it.
Hear it first, from the source
The easiest way to avoid fakes is to get your information straight from us. Members of the waitlist hear the launch date and the contract address first, by email. To join, enter an email address and confirm it. You get a permanent Forger number and a personal invite link.
If that sounds useful, you can join the waitlist here.
Be there at launch
Join the waitlist: the contract address and launch time reach you first. Free, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
